Groundwork is a federation of charities with a collective mission to take practical action to create a fair and green future in which people, places, and nature thrive. 

Funds raised by players of People’s Postcode Lottery and awarded by Postcode Places Trust will be distributed through their Grassroots Grants programme that will support small, local organisations in England who are making a positive difference in their communities.

The Unrestricted grants of £500 up to £2,000 can be accessed by organisations whose income is under £60,000 in the last financial year. Priority will be shown to the following:

• Income of £50,000 and under
• Funding for communities that rank as being within the top 15% on the English Indices of Deprivation
• Organisations that work with and support marginalised/vulnerable communities.
